Students

African Studies students are global citizens. Through coursework, study abroad experiences, theses, research, leadership in Africa-centric organizations, and internships they are increasingly able to engage with contemporary African opportunities and challenges. Interdisciplinary coursework deepens students understanding of Africa’s place in history and in contemporary international affairs.
