Title: The African Studies Program at SFS Condemns the Rise of Anti-Asian Hate

The African Studies Program at Georgetown University condemns in the strongest possible terms the rise in anti-Asian racism and violence directed at Asians and Asian Americans in our country. We stand in solidarity with our faculty, staff, student and alumni colleagues at this time to repudiate all such violence and call for greater efforts across the United States but especially at Georgetown. In line with the Call for Action against Global Racism issued last year, we pledge within our Program to do more to build an inclusive and anti-racist Program through our courses, our programming and our faculty-student engagement.
