Fellowships

The African Studies Program is pleased to announce the African Studies Study Abroad Fellowship.

Fellowships are open to current undergraduate and graduate candidates and awarded each year in support of study abroad, internship, and research opportunities related to the advancement of African studies, both local and international. 

African Studies Abroad Fellowship: KENYA

Selected candidates will be awarded a partial scholarship to help fund the Alternative Spring Break program in Nairobi, Kenya. Recipients of the fellowship are expected to contribute a short, written piece about their trip to the African Studies for inclusion in our program newsletter, Asubuhi.
 

African Studies Abroad Fellowship: Tanzania

Application Deadline: Tuesday, February 28th, 2017

This year selected candidates will be awarded a partial scholarship to help fund the trip of a student to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Recipients of the fellowship are expected to contribute a short, written piece about their trip and research to the African Studies for inclusion in our program newsletter, Asubuhi.
